Farrell C. Covell
Farrell C. Covell was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attend college at U.C. Berkeley where he studied Astrophysics and History. After graduation, he spent a couple years doing research at Lawrence Berkeley Labs and then working for a technical software company. He then attended law school at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
As a law student, Farrell was on the Dean’s Honor List for 2000-2001 and 2002-2003. He earned First Honors for Civil Procedure and was the recipient of a Faculty Academic Honors Scholarship for 2001 – 2003. He assisted drafting the article Removal, a Trap for the Unwary: Problems in Federal Forum Selection which was published in January 2002 for ALI-ABA. He participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program helping low income individuals complete their tax returns for two years. He graduated in the top 15% of his class.
After law school, Farrell practiced law representing national corporations and insurance companies in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, automobile fraud, toxic tort, business litigation, medical malpractice, and general business transactional matters. He handled every step of litigation from initial pleadings up to trial.
In 2018, Farrell relocated to Bellingham, WA and joined Anderson Carey Williams & Neidzwski. He now handles all types of maritime and personal injury cases in Washington and California. Having spent more than a decade litigating cases on behalf of major insurance companies, Farrell possess a comprehensive understanding of injury litigation which he employs to achieve the best possible results for his clients.
Farrell is licensed to practice law in Washington and California. He is admitted to the Federal Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of California.
While not practicing law, Farrell enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His hobbies include scuba diving, fishing, bike riding, and strategic board games.
