Our client was the engineer aboard a 77-foot longliner, the EAGLE. The master directed him to repair a compressor for a small freezer. In the process of doing so, he was struck by a plate which flew off the compressor, and sustained a neck injury.

Prior to the trial, the defense offered $50,000 in settlement. At trial, our firm secured a judgment exceeding $230,000.
